Enrollment is Now Open for the 2025 Lower Township Police Youth Camp

The Lower Township Police Department is happy to announce the dates for their free annual Summer Police Youth Camp. The camp is open to youth who reside in Lower Township who will be entering into 6th or 7th grade this September 2025. The summer camp is set to run from Monday, July 28, 2025 through Friday, August 1, 2025, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.   

The camp is designed to nurture a positive and healthy interaction between the Lower Township Police Officers and the children in our community. Campers connect with officers during the week as they are laughing together on a roller coaster, cheering for the home team at a baseball game or just talking over lunch.  We have seen this connection last throughout the duration of a camper’s childhood and into adulthood. 

The week will be filled with exciting activities including:  K-9 Demonstration, SWAT Demonstration, Water Park days, Trenton Thunder Game. Miniature Golf, and much more!  Lunch is provided to campers each day which is donated by local businesses.  Camp concludes on August 1, 2025 with a certificate ceremony and families are invited to attend.

Enrollment begins May 1, 2025 and ends on May 30, 2025. Acceptance letters will be sent out by July 5, 2025.  Campers MUST be able to attend the entire week of camp and have transportation to and from camp. There will also be a MANDATORY parent meeting for the selected campers, which will be held at the Lower Township Municipal Building, 2600 Bayshore Road, Villas, NJ 08251. Meeting date to be set and will be provided with acceptance letters.

Completed applications can be dropped off at the Lower Township Police Department, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., or mailed to the following address:
