Enrollment is Now Open for Lower Township Police Youth Camp
The Lower Township Police Department is having a free police youth camp for students who will be entering into 6th and 7th grades this September 2022. The summer camp is set to run from Monday, July 25 through Friday, July 29, 2022, concluding with a graduation ceremony.
The camp is designed to foster a positive and healthy interaction between the Lower Township Police Officers and the children in our community. It will be an exciting week of fun-filled activities including:
- K-9 Demonstrations
- SWAT Demonstrations
- Police Simulators
- Police Drills
- Field Trips, and much more!
Enrollment extended to 6-10-22! Please complete an application and return it to Corporal Jennifer Elwell of the Lower Township Police Department by June 1, 2022. Click here to download and print the application.
Completed applications can be dropped off at the Lower Township Police Department, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., or mailed to the following address:

If more youth register than can be accommodated, a lottery system will be used. Acceptance letters will be sent out by July 1, 2022. Campers must be able to attend the entire week of camp, including graduation. There will also be a MANDATORY parent meeting for selected campers, which will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. at the Lower Township Municipal Building, 2600 Bayshore Road, Villas, NJ 08251. |
